Henry T. Casado, MAI, SRA, AI-GRS, AI-RRS Principal Appraiser | Mercatus Valuation
Henry T. Casado is a highly credentialed real estate valuation expert with over three decades of experience appraising complex commercial, residential, hospitality, and mixed-use properties. He holds all four professional designations from the Appraisal Institute: MAI, SRA, AI-GRS, and AI-RRS, demonstrating advanced competency in both valuation and appraisal review practice.
Mr. Casado earned a Master of Science in Real Estate Valuation from Johns Hopkins University in 1997, with an academic foundation in finance, market analysis, and property economics. His valuation work is trusted by financial institutions, attorneys, developers, and public agencies throughout Florida. He is frequently engaged for litigation support, appraisal review, highest and best use analysis, asset monitoring, and complex zoning and leasehold interest assignments.
A wartime veteran of the United States Navy, Mr. Casado served with distinction during the Gulf War. He was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal with “V” device for valor in combat and the Air Medal for combat sorties.
Henry has volunteered for the Appraisal Institute for over 15 years, contributing to the advancement of ethics, education, and professional standards within the appraisal profession.
He is also a qualified instructor for the Appraisal Institute, authorized to teach a wide range of residential and review coursework
